Amazon, the world’s largest online marketplace, is now available inside the ETN App, providing infinite ways to spend Electroneum (ETN) cryptocurrency
Amazon has seen dramatic growth since the advent of Coronavirus in 2019. They saw more than a 30% increase in net revenue the following year, surpassing $386 billion US Dollars. Today, Amazon is the largest online marketplace and fifth most visited multi-platform web property in the world, sitting just behind Google, Microsoft, Verizon, and Facebook. And yet, much of the world still cannot use it. This is due to one simple fact: that 1.7 billion people worldwide do not have access to a bank account. These people, therefore, rely upon cash, meaning they’re either unable to buy and sell online - or it is difficult or costly to do so. This is why today’s announcement is so incredibly exciting: that Electroneum (ETN), the cryptocurrency focussed on financial inclusion, can now be used inside the ETN App to make purchases on Amazon.

Twenty years ago, iTunes started life as a music library to accompany the iPod - a revolutionary portable music player from Apple that put "1,000 songs in your pocket". Today, iTunes is very different. Not only does it provide access to millions of songs, but it also plays host to millions of apps, and thousands of TV shows and films. And through a host of other apps, Apple offers access to games on Apple Arcade, hundreds of magazines and leading newspapers with Apple News+, and an expansive line-up of books and audiobooks from Apple Books. So it’s for this reason today’s announcement is so exciting, as starting today, Electroneum (ETN) can now be used to make purchases across many of Apple's content services.

As parents eagerly await news as to whether stock of the PlayStation 5 will be available to buy in time for the holidays, news reports from around the world are warning people of resellers listing consoles for up to £1,000. But in many parts of the world, kids and adults alike are simply not in the position to spend £500, let alone £1000. Instead, gifts in the form of PlayStation Network (PSN) vouchers offer an alternative to the latest and greatest hardware, in favour of in-game add-ons that keep millions of gamers active on even the older game releases. And it’s for this reason today’s announcement is so exciting, as this new deal means Playstation Network (PSN) vouchers can be purchased directly within the ETN app.
